ICRC visiting detainees in Bahrain

KUWAIT CITY, Feb. 7 (UPI) — Representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross started visiting detainees caught up in Bahrain's unrest, a regional director said.

Bahrain releases Canadian, female protester

A judge in Bahrain has released on bail a Canadian of Kuwaiti origin who was jailed five years for his role in Shiite-led protests last year in the Gulf kingdom, his lawyer said Tuesday.
